Our Church Story
People have been worshipping in Holy Trinity Parish Church since 1874, and it remains as central a part of community life in the picturesque coastal town of Dunfanaghy today as it did then.
As a Church of Ireland parish within the Diocese of Derry and Raphoe, we are part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, and our beliefs and practices derive from Scripture, reason and tradition. We believe in a church which welcomes and serves all people in the name of Jesus Christ; we welcome people from all Christian traditions, other faiths, and those of no faith, as we work to make our church a place where everyone feels included and respected.
